We have been producing wool on Turkey Lane for over 50 years. My father took up the lease on this property in 1956 when I was 12 and I continue to enjoy working with our youngest daughter and husband producing top quality fine wool. My early farming career was centred around land development, setting the foundations for a long term sustainable business.

Turkey Lane is situated 6 kilometres inland from the North Coast where our favourite beach Middle River is. From the northern end of our farm the mainland is easily visible.

In the late nineties we closed our flock and commenced an intensive genetic programme to reduce fibre micron and and improve wool cut. We continue to artificially inseminate ewes in our nucleus flock and benchmark our progress. We are now supplying rams and semen to other wool growers.
